I've lived in chicago for 3 years, but i'm not still used to people staring at me here.For example, if you see someone unusual to you (strange clothing, horrible deformity, uncommon race, etc), you are told not to stare at the person.Here's a perfect example from the pbs article.Don't stare at people, that's rude.But the really big, foundational stuff.
